The SIXTH annual ifa Excellence Awards finalists have just been announced and Stratus Financial Group is among the top contenders for the coveted Holistic Advice Firm of the Year category.
Brett Cribb, Principal Practice Director, Stratus Financial Group said he is pleased to be among the finalists in this particular category.
“This award recognises that successful financial planning requires multi-disciplinary expertise. However, even more importantly, that there is methodology for those disciplines to synchronise and seamlessly create the best possible outcomes for the client’s overall financial circumstances,” he said.
With a slogan that promises to ‘Make It Happen’, Stratus Financial Group’s full-service financial planning approach ticks all the boxes when it comes to truly ‘holistic’ service and advice.
“As you would expect, our financial planning approach includes high-level investment and risk advice, retirement planning, superannuation and SMSF strategy, debt and cashflow management and so on. Over and above this we also have specialisations in Executive Share Schemes (ESS), aged care and a financial advice niche for expatriates and mining and resources personnel.
“What makes our outcomes so worthwhile for clients is our approach, which extends to a team of specialist professionals who offer advice in areas of complex tax and accounting, legal and estate planning, in support of those services,” he said.
Celebrating its sixth year, the ifa Excellence Awards, in partnership with Colonial First State, is the pinnacle event for the nation’s independent financial advice sector. The awards recognise the outstanding success of Australia’s independent and non-aligned advice community, including advisers, licensees, support staff and practices.
The finalist list, which was announced on 18 July 2019, features over 140 high-achieving finance professionals across 20 categories.
“The past year has been a difficult one for the industry but the ifa Excellence Awards is a chance to honour and showcase an industry that strives to be a guiding light in the lives of its customers,” said ifa editor James Mitchell.
“These finalists have not only survived one of the toughest years for the industry but they have thrived. They have created their own opportunities and will be the leaders of the industry moving forward. Congratulations to all the finalists, there were a lot of nominations and it came down to the wire for a lot of categories. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you all at the ceremony later this year.”
The winners will be announced at a five-star gala dinner on Friday, 6 September at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney.
