Since 2013, Brett Cribb, Financial Planner and ESS Strategist with Stratus Financial Group and a former Mining Engineer, has been on a mission to help high-earning executives, professionals and business owners make the most of their income, career, wealth and lifestyle.
His goal was to create an information hub that would provide access to qualified information specific and relevant to the needs of what was at that time an exclusive mining industry cohort. That hub was aptly named “Mining Professionals Only”.
Mining Professionals Only proactively promoted the need for a multi-discipline approach for solving complex matters that ultimately impacted on the personal prosperity of individuals in the mining sector.
The defining feature of the hub was, and continues to be, that it provided a gateway to specialised ‘collaborative’ advice and support that recognised no single professional had the skills, experience or qualifications to adequately advise across all areas of an individual’s affairs.
Brett successfully brought together highly qualified and experienced professionals in financial planning, business advice, tax strategy (including international tax), ESS, legal, finance and lending, property and other specialised areas and built professional advice teams as required for individual clients’ circumstances.
These professionals worked collaboratively for the united purpose of delivering complete, properly integrated and seamless strategies in respect of each discipline, and overarching big-picture outcomes.
In 2017, the Mining Professionals Only hub was rebranded and extended to welcome those in the Resources sector.
Now known as Resources Unearthed, the ‘hub’ now celebrates a following of over 20,000 Mining and Resources executives, professionals and business owners. More than 12,000 regulars receive monthly updates relating to the matters that count towards their career, lifestyle and personal prosperity.
Brett and his fellow-collaborators have now helped dozens of individuals to solve complex matters and thrive financially, and have become trusted members of their client’s inner circle of professional advisers.
In 2021, Brett along with Irma Bantjes and James Marshall, co-founded Executive Strategies.
Borne of Resources Unearthed, Executive Strategies shares the information hub philosophy for providing qualified support and access to collaborative advice and support for executives in Health, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Construction and Government Corporations.
Both Resources Unearthed and Executives Strategies attract and help (often profoundly) individuals who are characterised by high earnings, high stress, lack of time, inherent financial and legal complexity and a desire to live their best life – personally, professionally, financially.
